Fruit & veggies should be a very large part of an eclectus parrots daily diets. Their extra long digestive tract & extra high sensitivity to the environment & food means you need to be careful with what you feed them.
The larger the variety of fruit & veg, the better. A high vit A & beta carotene is also required for the eclectus.
Brightly coloured fruit & veg are highly recommended as they have higher nutritional values. Fruit & veg that look washed or pale in colour like ice burg lettuce or celery are very watery & have little or no nutritional value.
Berry fruits are very nutritional & recommended as often as possible.

The usual no no's for foods never change for any parrot.

This is only a small part of what is available around the world. For some parts of the world the availability is very limited, for others it's easily accessible. For me in Australia, 99% of it all is easily accessible at least most of the year. When one things goes, a few newer things come in so I am always able to give my eclectus a large variety daily all year round.
